Peer to Peer Emotional Support Group: Through Mold Illness and Recovery

Mold illness can be isolating in a way that's hard to explain to someone who hasn't experienced its impact. Maybe your house looks fine. Maybe your labs came back normal. Maybe you've been told it's anxiety, or stress, or that it's in your head. But…you know it isn't.

You are not alone. There are people across this country who understand what you are going through because they, too, have been impacted. Once a month, Malachi’s Message Foundation hosts this emotional support group.

Joining this group, or even just one call, is free. The Peer to Peer Emotional Support group meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM Central. Come to listen or come to share. Come to learn or come to ask. We'd love to meet you, so come as you are.

Facilitator: Tamekia Watts

Tamekia is a mother, mold survivor, full volunteer, and a certified life coach and finance consultant. She holds an MBA and has mentored individuals and teams across a range of industries. Her approach to coaching considers the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. She was unknowingly exposed to toxic mold and environmental contaminants, and she continues to work through the health challenges that came with it through awareness, self-care, mindset, and gratitude.
