This year, we invited a truly extraordinary young woman to share her story, what it’s like to endure mold exposure not as an adult, but as a teenager. Abby faced challenges that would overwhelm most grown adults. It’s hard enough to explain to other friends how mold can devastate your health and force you from your home. But imagine trying to explain that to high school classmates. And yet, instead of staying silent, Abby stepped forward. She created her own platform to educate her peers about mold. She wrote a novel. She published her first short story. She won a Texas moot court state championship. And she did all of this while undergoing intensive therapy to heal from her exposure. Her her voice have already inspired countless others. It is my honor to introduce this year's Hope Warrior speaker, Abby Lovins.

Rocco Nugent is a filmmaker, artist, and spiritual teacher exploring the intersections of legacy, healing, and myth. The son of Ted and Shemane Nugent, he’s co-creating an unscripted series about their family’s journey through mold illness and holistic recovery. Through his creative studio Moon Co., he leads projects that fuse media, metaphysics, and generational transformation.
